Pampering session; Herbaline Miri.

Salam & Hi!
I am never a big fan of facials.
Simply cuz I don't like it when they poke my face - even if it's to take out the blackheads and stuff..
I just don't like it. :/

..but I do love getting pampered!
Like, seriously.
Hahaha.

I was badly looking for a place with a good body massage (and affordable!) so I drove around town to look for one.
Initially I wanted to go to this one place but unfortunately she wasn't available..:\
Then I remembered that I keep on commenting on this Herbaline huge signboard by the road where it stated their current promotion, which is the RM38 nett for a facial for a first timer!

..then I randomly went.
Too bad their body massage was a tad too expensive for me, so I went on to try their facial!

It.was.heavenly.
:]

What I love the most was the head & shoulder massage they gave me ooooohhhmannn.
(Y)
I'd have to thank my promoter for that day, she was extremely nice!
Her name is Audrey - too bad I didn't take any photos with her:/

It was a bit hard to take a lot photos as well cuz I only brought along my 50mm prime lens..
=.=

So...
before you start your facial, you'll be headed to this place where you get to soak your feet in!

I was hoping she would give me a foot massage as well bahahaha.
But they didn't - although they provide you with a brush for you so you could do it yourself. :]

The main point of this place is to get you relaxed,
and I'd have to say that I immediately felt so relaxed when I saw their interior..
It's soooo "spa like"!
Lol.

While you soak your feet in, those are baskets/their kind of locker to store your shoes in; which they will nicely keep it for you.
All you have to do is just enjoy and relax.

After that's done, Audrey lead me upstairs where the facial rooms are.

At the entrance of the rooms, you'll be asked to breathe in/out their lavender scent which is boiled in a pot like so..

Sorry that I couldn't take photos of the room tho, cuz it was quite dark.
I love the music they played during the session, it made me feel like I was somewhere else..
..by the beach..on vacation..
I slept like a baby for a while bahahaha.

After facial & the shoulder and head massage, I was given a lemongrass tea & also another pot of different scent for you to breathe in more in order to make you feel all refreshed.
I felt like a princess nyehehe.

The last treatment to conclude the facial was..

fish spa!
...it was too ticklish I couldn't stand it even for 5 minutes lololol.

Even by looking through these photos again makes me feel WARGHWARGHWARGH hahahahaXD

A bird's nest I saw while I was in the fish spa pool.
Teeheee.

Eat my dead skin fishies!
Muahaha.

Purple orchids! My absolute favorite flower!
:D

If you have never been to Herbaline Miri,
you should go and try their facial (for first timers only) while it's still on promo!
It's only RM38nett (they don't even accept tips!)

I'm not sure for how long the promotion lasts,
so go ahead and try your luck!;)

Quality time with the bestie is loveeee.

Hellu!C:
I love coffee shops.
The ones where you can really relax, and places that has wifi hahahaha:P
That's mainly the reason why I like going to Starbucks or Coffee Bean; cuz you pay a lot for your drinks and it makes me not feel guilty to stay for as long as I want to ahahahaha.:P
..and also cuz I love doing my work there, or read my book or blog!
That's so far the only place that I can be all alone and not be bothered by anyone.
I'd have to say that I prefer Starbucks cuz I am already familiar with the Baristas and also I can collect my Bpoints.

Mirians might know that San Francisco coffee opened a while back in PermyMall,
but it has closed down for some reason and some other coffee shop took over the place.
So we decided to try there yesterday, cuz both the bestie and I loved the fact that it's not always full of people.
You get to relax more and not fight for nice spots /tables. (Y)

Before we decided to settle down there and order and all we kinda inspected the place hahahaha.
We went in, explored every corner, looked at the menu, looked at the price, went out of the shop, and went back in.
I even googled the place before actually deciding to stay or leave hahaha.
(Nawp, there's nothing on google. I think it's owned by a local)
Thank god the workers were nice and friendly. :D

I ordered this drink called Cookie Cream Macchiato or something I forgot what exactly it is called; but I remember the description of the drink was "it's like drinking cookies" or something. Haaa. How can I not find that interesting, right?
It was really niceeeeeeee. I liked it a lot, except I would prefer it to have stronger coffee taste.
But I think you can add in more shots.
It tasted all milky and creamy, uhmmm like a white chocolate drink.
Very very nice.
Even more interesting is that it has chocolate chips at the bottom of the drink!:D
So it's like digging for treasure hahahaha.
..and also I think it could've been a bit more hot or at least a bit warmer.
Cuz I like my drinks hawwwt.

Ohhhhh! They even have teh tarik on their menu.
Although it's ridiculous to pay that much for a teh tarik.............

The place is nicely decorated too - another plus point there.^^.

One of the downsides of this place are the hot drinks.
Personally I think it is quite pricey, cuz the mugs are smaller if it were to be compared to Starbucks ' or Coffee Bean's.
For the small mug is RM9.50 (for my cookie cream macchiato) and if I am not mistaken for the largest mug was RM13-ish?:/ I don't remember....
Okay when I put it that way, the prices are quite similar but I have a problem with the hot drinks' mugs..so yeah.
(OMG I just realized that I forgot to take lots of relevant photos hahahaha)
I should've taken photos of the mugs -.-

But!
As for the ice blended drinks and such, I can say that the price is normal for places like these.
I ordered a drink that's watermelon and lychee flavored; and again- it was not a disappointment at all. (Y)
They even gave me a complimentary cheese cake. :D

...and more irrelevant photos.

That paper I'm holding? It's like a text book for the place.
On it is how you pronounce all the words they have on the menu and stuff.
Sorry I didn't take a photo of it cuz I brought Jojoe's 50mm prime lens..so it was too meh to actually take close ups.

...and that's my awesome date for the day.

Teeeeheeee.
We would definitely come back (when we're not broke and all haha) here and stay there the whole day  :P
I just cannot get over with the fact that the workers are really really nice.

Rich people should come here and open more fancy coffee shops, right?;)
*Ps: Please open a cheaper one but still fancy looking.:P

Toodles!

Trip 2- It's singing time! (The Terminal)

Hi!

A little fact about myself; I enjoy singing. I enjoy it so much that sometimes I sing at weddings, dinners, events and stuff. I enjoy singing so much that I actually have a YouTube account for it.

I have to say that I am really glad that both of my other half' loves singing as well! (That would be Jojoe & Giz ehems) Too bad we don't have much places that's decent enough to go for random Karaoke sessions, you know? Like, ones that we can easily go while the sun is still up? Lawl. I mean, karaoke places here in Miri usually opens at 7pm and it's always not just a karaoke place, you get me?

But ever since we found this place...(!) we got all excited and we went there all the time till like, the people who works there recognizes us. -.-'

Now, where is this amazing place I am talking about?
Say Hello to The Terminal!:D
It's a very decent looking place for Karaoke sessions:)
It is located at the Sun City / DiGi Center / Hot Cross Bun / Banana Leaf, Centerpoint area, quite easy to find when you're already in that area.

I love the fact that it is open early, really. ( Mon-Sun 12pm-1am )
I think quite a number of people knows about this place already, so you better book or be there early if you want a room! Yes, a room:D

It is nicely decorated too;D

We were always given rooms 12, 13, all the teen numbers, but today we got room number 1 which I think is new, cuz I THINK I have never seen it before. It's probably a bigger room divided into two. But that's how it looks like! Very nice, yes?

It's very clean and tidy..and you get 2 cans of soft drinks for each person.

Toilets! You can never take this as an easy matter. They're cleannnnn cleaner than the toilets at our airport -.-' ( I compared airport cuz I have always thought airports should have the cleanest toilets)
To select songs, you will have to choose from a lovely touch screen like so. Teeeheee. I would prefer it to be operated with a remote tho..The songs selection are just okay, if you love singing Indonesian songs, sadly there's not much of it.:/ But still okay, mmkays?:D You can always choose English songs, they often update new songs:)

Now another thing I lalalove about this place is the fact that is very affordable!
If you want more info, here's their facebook page;
I went there today & we were charged RM30 for two. You do the math and see how affordable that is!;)
