Mask review - Overlab Yellow Pumpkin Real Powder Mask

now I know that I have ridiculously dry skin.
Lol.
I've always thought I'm a combination of both..
but I keep on getting comments on how "very dry" my skin/face is.
Bahaha.
But at least now it's easier for me to choose my skin care product, yes?

Before I rant on about the mask,

So..that pretty much means that this mask is supposed to give me the moisture that my skin needs!

As I mentioned, my skin is dry.
Say hello to my lubang idong and my dry skin!

Not sure if you can really see that my skin is dry..(cuz honestly I can't hahaha)

P/s: This mask is a bit too tedious for me :|

You need to gently push the bottom part of the mask (where the ampule is) to the upper left corner like so.

After your mask is soaked with it,
simply take it out and put it on your face!

Whhhoooop.
Another thing I dislike about the mask is..the smell. :3
The smell is too pumpkin-ish (if that makes any sense) but I really didn't like it >.<
I had to take it off earlier than I am supposed to cuz I hated the smell.
Lol.

BUT!
Even though I did not put it on THAT long,
it definitely leaves the moisturizing feeling on my skin!

It feels so fresh & when I touch my face it feels slightly smoother than before I put it on:D

It's quite sticky, but I think that is why it is extremely moisturizing to your skin.

All in all,
What I like about it - the fact that it does moisturize my skin even when I didn't wore it that long :D
What I pretty much dislike about it - definitely the smell. :\

If I am not mistaken I think they have it in Orange too, so I bet that smells nice!
Although I'm not quite sure what it's for.

Anyhoo,
you can always try this out if you like pumpkins most importantly if you have dry skin!

Review; Nature Republic- Garden Recipe Wash Off Pack [Strawberry]

This morning while I was in the bathroom I noticed that my face has some sort of glow.

Okay, maybe not a glow; but my face looks slightly brighter and fresher!

..and I thought to myself, oh wow I must have done something good that I am all "glowy" 

hahahaha. 

Vain much?

But really! 

My face looks extra bright and fresher looking today, too bad I didn't went out of the house to show it off 

bahahahaha okay okay, I'm kidding. 

Anyhooooos, 

Two days ago I tried this. 

So THAT was the reason why my skin was looking extra fresh compared to the usual pale face:D

Specially lately, that I haven't gotten proper sleep;

which means I sleep realllly late at night and wake up reaaallly late in the morning. 

It's not considered as a nice beauty sleep mmkays?

Plus after all those coffees and the unhealthy junks I've been dumping into my body..

Imagine my level of vain self confidence when I looked in the mirror this morning..

I kept on looking at myself in the mirror throughout the day. 

Hah! 

I even had my mascara on even when I stayed at home today.

bahahahaha. 

If you're wondering what this is, 

it is a wash off pack- which is like a face mask sort of thing. 

Simple steps to apply!

Simply wash/clean your face, dry it off & apply this evenly on your face. 

Leave it on for about 10-15 minutes (I tend to leave them on for 20 minutes;) )

Then wash it off with lukewarm water! 

Easy-peasy!

I felt a slight burning sensation right after I apply it, 

but it does not stay long. 

Lasted for about 10-20 seconds or so?

..and it smells like smushed strawberries!

Which of course, I didn't like cuz I'm not a big fan of strawberries (and I wonder why do I keep on getting myself strawberry scent products -.-) but I still can tolerate the sweet smell. 

I honestly got this cuz of the cute packaging! 

Can't resist that cute strawberry smiling away hahaahaha:p

It had costed me uhmmm less than 10bucks.
I forgot exactly how much I got it for :3

Don't you judge by it's small packaging!

Cuz actually it can be used up to 3 times!

Tonight's the second time I applied it, and I still have a generous amount of it for some other time. 

I simply did not tear the plastic on top all off, so I just place a heavy memo pad on top to secure the remaining. 

The texture is more or less like strawberry jam teeeheee. 

Makes my face feels smoother after rinsing it off. 

Other fruits in this range includes Kiwi, Carrot, Broccoli, and Kohlrabi.  

Different fruits does different job, as for Strawberry, 

it's for a brighter skin tone. 

Welp.

Looks like it did the job well!

I think I might try the other fruits as well.

ps// If you ever wonder; I apply my moisturizer after every session of my mask pampering days.
It helps keep the moisture of my face, just in case one of those masks I tried sucks my skin's moisture.

Tips;
When trying any new products, try it on at a small area of either your hands or your neck.
That way you would still be sort of "safe" if you're allergic to anything!;)

Review 1- Nature Republic's Rice Mask Sheet

 Hello!
My best friend asked me the other day, do I still wear mask regularly?
I stopped for a while, probably around a month or so because of my allergies.
I couldn't just apply or use any sort of skin care or any mask or whatsoever.
I can't even put on some perfume!-.-

For few weeks I had no protection on my face.-.-

But fret not, it's all A-Okay now. Well, at least it wasn't as bad anymore.
The answer is yes, I still do apply/wear/use (haha) masks at least three times a month.
Sometimes more.

I haven't been trying out new masks cuz I am worried that it might damage my skin..so even if I feel like
trying new ones, I have to choose the brands that I am already familiar with.

This time it is Nature Republic's Rice Sheet Mask!:D
I somehow fall under the dry skin category but not too dry; plus the T zone area which is a bit more oily than the rest.
 

This particular mask sheet is for dry skin, it helps to moisturize your skin. 

I'd have to warn the people who has oily skin, this product is very moisturizing. But of course they'll definitely help you to choose which one is best for you! 

They have a lot of other kinds for this range, all I did was just let the kind lady to take a look at my face and recommend which suits my skin better. (: 

So before putting it on, I popped it into the fridge for 15 minutes or so. 

 

 

 Ahhh, before I forget, make sure your face is clean before putting it on! You can go & wash your face while waiting for your mask to cool in the fridge;)

I am currently using Fresh Farm Cleanser by Nature Republic as well. 

  

It works well for me, although I'd have to say sometimes it does not clean that well. How did I know this?

When applying toner, I use cotton pads & I can see sometimes it's a bit brown-ish which comes from the dirt on my face even after I cleanse it with my facial cleanser. -.-

Will probably change back to ZA's cleanser right after I finish this one. 

 

Like other mask sheets, it's gonna look like so. Honestly I don't favor mask sheets like these anymore simply because I feel like it is messier and a bit more tedious to put on compared to the bottled masks.

I'd have to dig into the packet & get the juices all over my fingers..Uhhhmmm. Not fun at all.:|

Bottled is way much easier to apply, you just need to squeeze it out and use a brush to even it out on your skin!  

Anyhoo, back to this mask! This is how my skin looks like before putting it on..not that you can tell the difference that much teeeheeee.

 

 Left it on for about 15minutes.

It feels uhh a bit weird compared to other masks I have tried before. Personally I think it was a bit too moisturizing. Usually after putting masks on, I would just leave the mask's juice on my face & go right to bed! But not for this one. I had to wash it off cuz it felt all sticky and I didn't like it:3

The bright side of it is that my skin immediately felt all moisturized and soft right after! The next morning my face looks a bit brighter :D

I would rate it 2 hearts out of five.
