Pampering session; Herbaline Miri.

Salam & Hi!

I am never a big fan of facials. 

Simply cuz I don't like it when they poke my face - even if it's to take out the blackheads and stuff..

I just don't like it. :/

..but I do love getting pampered! 

Like, seriously.

Hahaha. 

I was badly looking for a place with a good body massage (and affordable!) so I drove around town to look for one. 

Initially I wanted to go to this one place but unfortunately she wasn't available..:\

Then I remembered that I keep on commenting on this Herbaline huge signboard by the road where it stated their current promotion, which is the RM38 nett for a facial for a first timer! 

..then I randomly went.

Too bad their body massage was a tad too expensive for me, so I went on to try their facial!

It.was.heavenly.

What I love the most was the head & shoulder massage they gave me ooooohhhmannn.

I'd have to thank my promoter for that day, she was extremely nice!

It was a bit hard to take a lot photos as well cuz I only brought along my 50mm prime lens..

So...

before you start your facial, you'll be headed to this place where you get to soak your feet in!

I was hoping she would give me a foot massage as well bahahaha.

But they didn't - although they provide you with a brush for you so you could do it yourself. :]

The main point of this place is to get you relaxed, 

and I'd have to say that I immediately felt so relaxed when I saw their interior.. 

It's soooo "spa like"! 

Lol.

While you soak your feet in, those are baskets/their kind of locker to store your shoes in; which they will nicely keep it for you. 

All you have to do is just enjoy and relax. 

After that's done, Audrey lead me upstairs where the facial rooms are.

At the entrance of the rooms, you'll be asked to breathe in/out their lavender scent which is boiled in a pot like so..

Sorry that I couldn't take photos of the room tho, cuz it was quite dark.

I love the music they played during the session, it made me feel like I was somewhere else..

..by the beach..on vacation..

I slept like a baby for a while bahahaha. 

After facial & the shoulder and head massage, I was given a lemongrass tea & also another pot of different scent for you to breathe in more in order to make you feel all refreshed. 

I felt like a princess nyehehe. 

The last treatment to conclude the facial was..

fish spa!

...it was too ticklish I couldn't stand it even for 5 minutes lololol.

Even by looking through these photos again makes me feel WARGHWARGHWARGH hahahahaXD

Review; Nature Republic- Garden Recipe Wash Off Pack [Strawberry]

This morning while I was in the bathroom I noticed that my face has some sort of glow.

Okay, maybe not a glow; but my face looks slightly brighter and fresher!

..and I thought to myself, oh wow I must have done something good that I am all "glowy" 

hahahaha. 

Vain much?

But really! 

My face looks extra bright and fresher looking today, too bad I didn't went out of the house to show it off 

bahahahaha okay okay, I'm kidding. 

Anyhooooos, 

Two days ago I tried this. 

So THAT was the reason why my skin was looking extra fresh compared to the usual pale face:D

Specially lately, that I haven't gotten proper sleep;

which means I sleep realllly late at night and wake up reaaallly late in the morning. 

It's not considered as a nice beauty sleep mmkays?

Plus after all those coffees and the unhealthy junks I've been dumping into my body..

Imagine my level of vain self confidence when I looked in the mirror this morning..

I kept on looking at myself in the mirror throughout the day. 

Hah! 

I even had my mascara on even when I stayed at home today.

bahahahaha. 

If you're wondering what this is, 

it is a wash off pack- which is like a face mask sort of thing. 

Simple steps to apply!

Simply wash/clean your face, dry it off & apply this evenly on your face. 

Leave it on for about 10-15 minutes (I tend to leave them on for 20 minutes;) )

Then wash it off with lukewarm water! 

Easy-peasy!

I felt a slight burning sensation right after I apply it, 

but it does not stay long. 

Lasted for about 10-20 seconds or so?

..and it smells like smushed strawberries!

Which of course, I didn't like cuz I'm not a big fan of strawberries (and I wonder why do I keep on getting myself strawberry scent products -.-) but I still can tolerate the sweet smell. 

I honestly got this cuz of the cute packaging! 

Can't resist that cute strawberry smiling away hahaahaha:p

It had costed me uhmmm less than 10bucks.
I forgot exactly how much I got it for :3

Don't you judge by it's small packaging!

Cuz actually it can be used up to 3 times!

Tonight's the second time I applied it, and I still have a generous amount of it for some other time. 

I simply did not tear the plastic on top all off, so I just place a heavy memo pad on top to secure the remaining. 

The texture is more or less like strawberry jam teeeheee. 

Makes my face feels smoother after rinsing it off. 

Other fruits in this range includes Kiwi, Carrot, Broccoli, and Kohlrabi.  

Different fruits does different job, as for Strawberry, 

it's for a brighter skin tone. 

Welp.

Looks like it did the job well!

ps// If you ever wonder; I apply my moisturizer after every session of my mask pampering days.
It helps keep the moisture of my face, just in case one of those masks I tried sucks my skin's moisture.

Tips;
When trying any new products, try it on at a small area of either your hands or your neck.
That way you would still be sort of "safe" if you're allergic to anything!;)

Looking through people's update on the Big Bad Wolf's book Sale makes me feel like I wanna join in the fun too!

..and that may be the reason why my reading mood is back?

Such a hipster, not. Hehe.

The sudden urge to read love stories & chick lits came yesterday..

Which is a bit unusual for me cuz I would rarely read those kind of stories. :3 

Also made me realize that I actually own quite disturbing books on my shelf.. :X

I am the kind of person who would usually read books only by my favorite authors. 

So I  mostly have Ahern's, Hutson's, Blyton's (teeheee) & Dahl's. :P

..that's another habit to change - I should explore more books & authors. 

Anyhoo,

It's sad to know that my reading mood is here & all the books are so expensive..

..and also knowing the existence of the book sale, is just blehhhhhhhhhh.

So I end up getting few essentials for myself instead.

My skin is terribly dry lately, especially my face. 

Specifically the upper lip area & my nose. 

So ugly to look at the dead dry skin tangling pssshh.

My friend even thought I have a booger in my nose.

My first time trying the Face Shop's Olive face mask; 

I am already loving it!

I love love love this mask!

It really made my skin feel all moisturized & it leaves a cooling effect when I applied it on & after I took it off. (:

..and of course, nature related products such as these always smells so nice!

I'm definitely gonna try their other masks soon. 

This Olive face mask is specially for dry skin & if you're planning to try their mask, 

do ask for some assistance on which one is best for you & let her know what's your skin condition. (dry, oily yadayada)

ps: I honestly do not favor going to the Face Shop here cuz I prefer the sales person in Nature Republic, they're more friendly! 

The reason why I did not purchase any mask from Nature Republic this time is cuz I wanted to try something new & also cuz I haven't found one in Nature Republic that works well with me. 

But that's also cuz I haven't tried them all!;)

I also bought a fluffy brush..
for me to blend my eye-shadows after applying them with my other brush.
For my so called smokey eyes effect hahahaha.
Not that I usually have eye shadows regularly or something..

I think I bought this just cuz I got myself the brush cleaner the other day - HAHA guilty!
[ but this means more brushes to clean yay!x) ]

Nope, I do not know much about brushes..

Sorry if you have questions or comments on that.

and I was browsing for cheap chick lit books I could grab as well..

then I remembered that Popular has this book fair going on in PermyMall!

The two books on top - they're RM8.90 each & Koomson's book was only RM16.90 AND it was a hard cover! 

Explore different books & authors = check!

Darnn, I swear it's like I am living in a body of a 50 year old woman!

My back hurts almost all the time; it's probably because of all the slouching and facing my laptop all the time with bad posture yadayada~ But now it gets worse cuz even when I walk sometimes I get backache.-.-

Anyhoo, 

Feeling all content right now after all the pampering..

Stayed home & did few things that makes me all happy inside!:)

I have been putting this aside for quite a while now, glad that I finally got the chance to spend some time on it.

Syasya asked me to help her to assemble this mini fruit shop few weeks back but she didn't dare to ask me when am I gonna start doing it muahahaha so I figured I could use some distractions..

..and also cuz it makes me happy.

Let's do this!

 It is a bit harder than the ones I did before, simply because I need to glue pretty much everything; and the glue they provided was really MEH!

Had to use UHU; thankfully I had some left from my DIY projects..

The ones I did before was all made out of Styrofoam but this one is made of paper.. which is good, but just a liiiitle bit harder to do. Explains why Syasya didn't do it herself!

The mother bought a mini cake shop as well but guess what she did to it?

She threw it away cuz she said it was too hard for her to make hahahahha.

  

I guess you need some patience, huh?

You know, I will always have this uhmm nice sort of feeling after it's done. 

I would love to get more of these but I have nowhere to store it nicely..:3

As a result I had a burger for dinner.

Face mask, eye mask, hair mask, hand mask hoyesssss.

Both eye & face masks why? Cuz I can.:P

Hand mask (orange packet "Hand Me Love") - Nature Republic

Face & eye masks (blue packets) - Sasa

Hair mask (orange tube) - Nature Republic

Before Sasa was opened here in Miri, I tried their mask while I was back in KK few years back & I loved it! Bought some few weeks back on promotion; got 4 masks for only rm10.:D

Why I like their face masks is because of the clean fresh feeling after using it. 

I always pop these kind of masks in the fridge for few minutes before using it, so it felt even fresher!

Hand mask bought quite some time ago, I figured I should use it cuz I have no idea for how long am I allowed to keep it lawl.

I didn't really like it tho, it doesn't do much to your hands..Might as well invest in a good hand cream; you could use it so many times compared to hand masks:/
*psssst. My current fav is the Nivea Q10 hand cream!;)

My arms & elbows (can you believe it I had to google siku in English cuz I forgot what it is in English.. -.- ) were quite neglected cuz of the problems I have been having with my lips..so with all the love, I bought the classic Nivea body milk & it works wonders me likey:D 

Cracked heels creams are a must for me T.T

Can you see the bump at my left eye?:|

It's been there for weeks & it's really disturbing! 

I have no idea on how to remove it or make it disappear T.T

I should probably go to a pharmacy and ask. 

..and ohh! You notice how clean & fresh does my face looks?:D
