Prepping up for Eid?

Halu!
In my today's list of things to do includes baking a cake & laundry..
So while waiting for my laundry I figured that I could steal some time to update!
:D

Can't quite digest that Ramadan is coming to an end so soon!
That and- the fact that my face is so sensitive lately.:3
Bad timing since it's gonna be Eid soon and also my reception!

Few days ago I came across this.

Nivea's Make up Skin Therapy Set.
I am currently using Hada Labo's set; but it doesn't do much to my skin, sadly. :\
Although I am not quite sure why.
..because I pretty much put on BB cream everyday ( the very least) so I definitely could relate to this product!
Also...
I got hooked to it cuz of the black facial cleanser bahahaha.

This box costed me RM23 something - for those 3 things above.
Quite reasonable if you ask me!
It has a facial cleanser, a face mask and a SERUM!

SERUM- the magic word that will definitely make me go ooohhh?
LOL.
I can't tell you what it does to me.. or whether or not it is working..
yet.
It says that I would have to at least use those for 7 to 8 days to see the difference.
Since it is not that expensive.. figured that I could give it a go!
Hopefully it'll give my skin a bit glow, cuz SERIOUSLY, if I don't have my BB cream on I look like a dead person walking.
I look so pale and so..unhealthy.

Which comes with this small reminder for you ladies;
as much cream, and whatnots you put on your face,
ALWAYS remember to eat healthily and drink more water.
There's no other powerful remedy than that to keep your skin all glowy and supple!

In that case..
Maybe I should eat more veggies and fruits?
:]

My most problematic area of my face..are the eyes.
Under eyes.
Eyes.

Blehh.
That's also why I look so unhealthy, cuz my eyes are always so BLACK like it got punched every single day.
-.-
Yesterday we went out shopping,
and we stopped by at the OPI booth/ road show in Bintang Mall.
I got free stuff weeeee.

I really wanted to blog about it but I didn't have my camera with me!
T.T
I seriously need to start bringing my camera around with me again cuz it seems like lately random things keep on happening to me while I'm out!
Anyhoo,
I participated in the "Know your skin" thingy, where you get to color your skin zones;
of which zone do you think you have oily, or sensitive and yadayada,
and get a free gift right after!:)

I got an eye cream for that (YAY! I was really eyeing on their eye cream hahaha)
and I got a face toner for answering a question from their DJ of the day.

Thank you OPI!
:D

So all in all,
I am currently trying out the Nivea set plus the toner and eye cream from Dermalogica.
Let's hope my skin will be all prepped up for Eid!

What's your current skin care routine
and
what have you prepared for Eid?

Blog again soon!

ps: Don't forget to work on your faith too!
This is the perfect timing to be as close as we can to our creator.
*Self reminder as well!
;]

Selamat beribadah!

Men's skin care routine?

Hi!
Finally..I am actually blogging about this.
Not quite sure if I do have male readers...
But, if I do.. I am so sorry if this post (that I have been talking about too much) won't give you too much info or anything.

But anywaysssss,
I just wanna share with you - Jojoe's current skin care routine.
Mind you, he was extremely ( okay perhaps I am exaggerating a bit here) lazy when it comes to taking care of his face.

I had a problem with his oily skin..
I am not quite sure why, I just somehow find it annoying for him to have oily skin & not do anything about it
hahahahaha.
So back then I used to try making him take extra care of his skin (face) by getting him oil blotting papers, made him buy himself facial cleansers..and whatnot.
He agreed to it yes, but he was still quite lazy about it (but he did it anyways cuz he spent his money on it) until the day he got curious of my visits to Nature Republic.

For some reason he got hooked to Nature Republic & yay that's good news to me;
cuz it means he will finally actually be interested in taking care of his skin!

..and also cuz he is such a health freak now that he takes care of his body & yadayadaaaa.

He's been asking me about skin care ever since,
which I love so much - it's like blogging to him face to face teeeheee.

Not that I am good or that I know so much about skin care,
it's just one of the little things that makes me happy, you know?

What I am going to show you is his second set of his skin care routine,
which is different than the first set that he used to have.

Why am I sharing this is because it is so much easier for guys especially!
You know how girls sometimes have so many things to put on their face everyday?
That's something I actually enjoy doing (layering skin care) but that's what Jojoe hates the most.

My everyday skin care routine would include;
1. Facial wash
2. Toner
3. Eye cream
4. Moisturizer
5. Sunblock
6. Oxygen Mist

...and I still have this serum on my list of things to get.
I just simply love having to put all those things on my face everyday!

For his first set he had;
1. Facial wash
2. Toner
3. Moisturizer
4. Sunblock
5. Make up remover (for the sunblock cuz it's thick)

..and that was recommended by the sales person (ehemsss not me!)
It was all from Nature Republic.
Both of us could really see the difference, it made his face looks more fresher and cleaner.
But...
eventually he got tired of the sunblock applying & removing it..
So he decided that he needs one thing that serves for all
hahahaha.

Can't believe he actually found one.
-__________-
I fail.
Lol.

From left;
Facial wash , Africa Bird's All in One controller and Nivea's UV blocker.

So now he has only 3 things to apply everyday.

Mmmkays,
let me just explain briefly what does what.

Facial wash - It cleanses your face from all the dirt you collected all day.
Apparently this one helps to control his oily skin as well.

The All in one controller thing is very interesting to me! It works as a toner + lotion + essence!
That pretty much means it's gonna help your skin to be moisturized & provide your skin with all the things that it needs hahahaha.
It even says on the box that it is a perfect solution to men!
Hahhh!

Last thing is the UV blocker.
I chose that one for him cuz he has obvious pores and spots.
This Nivea UV Blocker is gonna help repair the skin cells & reduce the dark spots and even helps to even uneven skin tone.
..AND it has SPF (it's an UV blocker obviously) so that covers the sun block issues!
Also, it is water based.
For some reason both Jojoe & I find that amusing.
Lol.

If you are wondering whether or not those products really work,
we should all go ask him hahaha.

I did notice some changes like I have mentioned,
his face is more cleaner & fresher looking now and also his friends (according to him) has been noticing the changes too!
One of them actually wanted Jojoe to get him the exact things that Jojoe has been using, how interesting?

It's really easy and simple;
I have to give credits to the All in One Africa Bird from Nature Republic.
It makes a guy's job so much easier since it has pretty much everything in it;
the only thing that's missing is some SPF - the reason why Jojoe has to get the UV blocker thing.

I do recommend for guys (if I do have guy readers)
to actually get your hands on that.
It makes your everyday skin care routine so much easier & it smells so niceeee!

It's always good to take good care of your self ;
body, mind and soul -
as early as you can!
So now that you have read that,
if you haven't actually started taking care of your skin,
then probably it's time ;)

Don't wait till your face is full of pimples & spots or when you're all wrinkly,
start now!

Blog again soon!

ps: This is a personal review; I am not in any way affiliated to any company, unless stated.

Moisturize Madness!

Hellu!
If I have to pick one part of my body that I can change..that would probably my hands.
Hey, hey. Don't get me wrong! I am thankful for what I have; for having my hands! Hehee.
Just IF.
Cuz...I don't have uhmm pretty hands. You know, lady like hands?
My mom has prettier and softer hands compared to mine. Even my boyfriend's hands are softer! -.-'

I am a bit insecure about my hands..I can never let anyone or myself take photos of my hands. Lol.
..and I just had to belong to the category of people who love wearing rings. Sigh.Life.Haha.
That's the reason why I am a bit addicted to hand moisturizers,hand creams & lotions.

The latest one I bought was the Nivea Q10 age defying cream, (just because Mariannan uses them HAHA)
and I'd have to say that it works quite well! It does not feel sticky after applying, but I am not really a fan of the smell, though it smells quite nice..but I prefer fruity fresh smells.:P

I actually have tried more than these, but most of it doesn't do much.
Sometimes I just like buying the mini ones that I can throw in my handbag, because I think they're essential!
Specially when it is one of the days when I had some Lalapan!;)
You wouldn't want your hands to be smelly, no?Teehee.

Do let me know if you have tried fawesome hand cream!
I'd like to try them too.:)

Photologue 05.

 I had a date with my therapist today.

..she doodles awesomely.

I wish that I can at least doodle as awesome as her.
I wish I can draw.

I am full of wishes.
If one day a couple of fairies would magically appear & would grant me wishes;
I will be prepared.

I wish for everlasting wishes.
