Finally up; how I wear my hijab!:)

Salam & Hello,
my dear readers!

People have been requesting for me to put up a tutorial on how do I wear my hijab,
and it is finally here!
It's too hard for me to do it myself, so the bestie helped me with the photos :D

Initially I wanted to make a video, but it's even more tedious to do so..
Here you go,
my everyday hijab tutorial.

Get your shawl ready,
and I'll try my very best to explain to you how I do it!

First, have your shawl shorter on one side, and leave the longer one down.
(Okay I have a feeling that I am bad in explaining this but I do hope the photos will help!eeek)

I always have my shawl folded like so, cuz I think it makes the front part look nicer when it's folded.

Then I took the shorter side & pinned it right to the side; close to the spectacles frame like so.
I hate pinning my shawls to the middle, cuz it makes me feel like something is choking me lol.

..then I took the loose part ( the longer side) and fold it again.

..to make a neat looking side fold.

..continue pulling it up to the top of your head,

..and bring it all the way back to the side after pretty much "wrapping" your head in it.
(hahaha)

..take a small pin,

..and secure it in place.

..by now, it's actually almost done;
all you need to do is to just fix here and there just a bit more to make it look neater.

..and TADAHH!
It's all done!
Easy peasy.
It was hard to explain tho..cuz I am bad in explaining apparently. :/

My OOTD for the day;

If you haven't noticed, I've gotten a bit chubbier..
which explains the lack of my usual OOTDs lately ;)
Everything just doesn't seem to fit in me anymore it's depressing!
Looks like I need to save up for some shopping spree!
(or maybe diet:P)

Do share with me if you have your favorite ways to wear your hijab,
particularly ones that doesn't need pinning in the middle!;)

I think I'll blog about my favorite apps next,
so stick around,
I'll blog again soon!

:]

I'm back on!

Salam & Hello,
gorgeous people!

I haven't been here for quite a while, no?
That's cuz our streamyx was down for almost the whole January; which sucks.
I have been wanting to blog numerous time- I was so afraid that I might not be interested in blogging anymore...
which probably won't be happening anytime soon.
..or like, ever.

I have to admit that I am pretty occupied most of the time now especially since I am married.

Anyhoo,
It's ALREADY 2014 & like most of you,
I still can't quite digest the fact that 2013 was gone in a blink of an eye!
Scary that the time is flying by so so fast now.

So let's see..
It was my birthday last Jan, so I did some last minute tea time kinda thing at our place.

Didn't actually invite lots of people,
mainly cuz it was really really last minute.
Planned by the bestie & I!:)
We finally get to sort of make a dessert setting kind of thing, which is fun!
We did had gorgeous Yatie & her son with us, but the time we spent was a bit too short.
Will definitely plan another small gathering like these in the future :)

Thank you dearest bestie & Yatiek,
for being there for me on my birthday!
Much love for both of you :*

Stick around,
now that my streamyx is back on I just might blog a bit more regularly cuz I miss it!
Blog again soon!

Review; bLoop buddyz party nails x HiShop !

Helu & Salam!

I have to admit, I do like having colors on my nails sometimes.
I just love looking at all those pretty nails!
..but after I got married I rarely paint my nails.
Pretty much cuz I have different responsibilities now so my nails are always either bare or with henna on.

It's the end of the year & that means it's the marriage season too!
Hahaha.
The husband & I have been in and out of town to attend weddings..

..how can one resist such pretty henna??

Uhmm so excuse me cuz I'll be doing this with my nails still full with henna colored nails.
:]

Anyhoo,
I have seen photos here and there of nail strips and I have always wondered how does those things work.
Glad that I got the chance to try it out; thank you HiShop & Bloop!

The parcel arrived earlier than I expected it to be; that's always a plus point for online shops.
I received both nail & toe nail strips, also a nail polish.

Look at how pretty these are!:)

At the back there's instructions on how to apply it on your nails,
turn out that it's actually quite simple!

Simply measure your nails with the stickers,

..cut it off according to your own nail measurement.
These strips (the material) to me are very similar to those car stickers..hahaha.
You know? Those materials like the McD's drive thru stickers?
Uhmm sort of, sort of.
It even has that kind of sticker smell!
Teeeheee.

Just stick it on right after you measure them,
and push down the access sticker and gently strip it off.
I find this quite easy to do, but I assume the biggest problem of doing this yourself is it tends to have bubbles.
I recommend you to ask a help from a friend so it could be much neater.
Another tip is to apply a coat of clear nail polish on top so it could stay longer, stick better and won't be easily torn.

I only applied on one, cuz my nails are still too short for them so it would be such a waste if I put them all on!
Imagine having those pretty flowers on your nails...
(Y)

So girly & somehow vintage looking at the same time.
If I have the chance to actually have it all on at least 5 nails, I'll definitely post it up on Instagram, okay?

Now where to get these pretty nail strips?

They have plenty of designs, don't worry!;)
Maybe something to get for Christmas & New Year?

A little too much and a little too early!

Salam & Heyy!

Christmas is just around the corner..
looking at all the pretty gift sets and pretty wrappers made me wanna give gifts and receive them as well!
Hahahahaha.

..then it somehow some sort made me create a birthday wish list for myself.
Wooops.

Welp,
January is around the corner as well...
so...

Apart from wishing that the husband's gonna be around on my birthday..
(which is quite impossible)
Here's my (materialistic) birthday wish list for next year!
:p

Birthday wishlist

I really really, want a LOT of yummy chocolates.
Those Lindt's chocolates AMAGAH.
I also wish to have a small party, with a theme.
..at our place.
That would be so nice.

..with LOADS of desserts.
It might be a perfect idea for the theme.
Dessert party.
Yes.
Yes, please.

Okay bye!
:P

Blog again soon!

Quick update- I was in Kuching!

Salam & Hillu!

I was really excited to blog a moment ago..
..that was before I browsed through the photos I took.
-.-

All the photos from my Kuching trip was taken using a different camera & I couldn't care less about turning off the "date-on-photo" thingy and now I fully regret that I didn't care UGH!
I'm still sharing the photos anyway but I have no mood to edit it all out (the dates) so hopefully you'll accept it better than I do.
:\

If you are one of my followers in IG, you would know that I was in Kuching for my B's wedding.
Apart from being there for her, I took the opportunity to try all the food that I can while I was there!
..and I brought back some few Kgs as my souvenir.

Enjoy the compilation of some random photos!
I'll try to blog properly again very soon,
I still have another road trip so it's kinda hard to focus on blogging for the time being.

Special shout out & huge thanks to Nano,
who brought us around while we were there!:D

I still have more photos & things to share,
I'll blog again soon!
